Sleep Tight Movie Review
The zombie is no time for Spanish director Jaume Balagueró, but a very friendly concierge with the best for you. Even Though ...
Director Jaume Balagueró continued in 2007 with Paco Plaza world of terror on his head, zombie horror film [REC] to exit. In 2009, the duo released the sequel to this, considering the story is told in the style found footage, as we know from The Blair Witch Project in. This year, one-third of the [REC] is out, but the duo has decided not to cooperate to end it. Paco Plaza takes third especially while Jaume Balagueró costs lead to new follow. A great time to Balagueró to bring a new, independent film, meanwhile, While You Sleep (Sleep Tight).
sadist
César (Luis Tosar) is a lonely man, always have been. As a Caregiver of a small apartment, always be prepared to meet the needs of residents so that they can be happy. But behind fake smile Caesar is a dark character, sadist. The luck that Caesar out of life, it is getting from making other people miserable. Also resident Clara (Marta Etura); A happy-looking girl who never smile without leaving home. For what to do with César makes good use of the fact that he was in every apartment. So wait patiently every night under the bed of Clare, to make preparations for his dream of making his life unbearable slowness. Because the smile of Clara must disappear ... and if there should rougher César for artillery, then he has fully committed.
context
Then twice found footage films ever made, returns Balagueró to make conventional film form. When [REC] is to have complete chaos, Sleep Tight situated precisely in particularly difficult direction. The camera glides silently by and let the viewer see only what they can see. This is also reflected in the narrative. Because every corner of the veil, is something that you just saw, again placed in a completely different context. Especially the opening keynote witness what is right for the further course of the film. It falls in the main character, it seems helpful concierge Cesar. Such films staged a series of processes that seem to have a growing impact. Rigidity is slowly thus generated when the cut is almost. Another famous director also offer hand and therefore the title of "master of suspense" appointed entirely appropriate. That Jaume Balagueró by director has inspired Sleep tight, therefore, is obvious.
doubtful
Of course there is also something in the film and part of it is in the performance of the rest of the cast. To activate Luis Tosar (Caregiver) excellent paper down, for its simplicity and mild facial expressions. Etura subtlety fog, however, and that's both disturbing emotional scenes. Child playing neighbor movie also shows some fluctuations acting; So annoying, spoiled child, she would be fine, but remains well. Finally, the criticism that the music sometimes something is present, which has placed too much emphasis on certain feelings.
conclusion
Jaume Balagueró that no zombie and can handle the chaotic camera work, try to sleep. The film has a slow but exciting buildup, so everything is pretty to play. In addition to the viewer knows Balagueró, Luis Tosar as your character does, manipulate talented. A small drawback is the performance of some other cast members will be lower, but that does not affect much the film: Sleep tight crawls under your skin and the possibility that you can then see this film under his bed look before bedtime is superb.
